Here is an uplifting collection of 101 individual writings that can be used as a separate daily reading. A mindfulness practice is offered at the end of each writing that offers practical steps you can take to embody the more fully realized ideas presented to help you expand your experience of life. Ultimately, the understanding at which you arrive is the spiritual reality, the art of being is actually a lifestyle. It’s a way of walking our sacred earth every single day.
DR. MICHAEL BECKWITH: “In the Art of Being, Dr. Jones generously, gently and powerfully offers the gifts of his own journey. He has taken the universal truths of the New Thought-Ancient Wisdom tradition of spirituality and shown their relevance to the challenges we face in twenty-first century living. Most importantly, the spiritual brilliance of his own intimate experiences on the path to waking up unfolds for the reader a transformative understanding that inspires the soul into action. May this book be for you a special friend, an introduction to the Power and Presence of that which we call God, the very Essence that invites you to be you.”
MARY MANIN MORRISSEY: “Dr. Dennis Merritt Jones gives us lucid and doable ways to BE. This book is a beautiful guide to the now moment.”
Dennis Merritt Jones
Having been a motivational force in New Thought for over twenty years, Dennis Merritt Jones, D.D. has often been referred to as “a teachers teacher.” In 1985 he founded the Simi Valley Center For Positive Living in Southern California where the vision to “Expand the awareness of God’s Presence in All” continues under his leadership as senior minister and director. With his wife Diane, they share a nearby home 50 miles west of Los Angeles. “”Dr. D,” as his spiritual community refers to him, believes everyone has the capacity and responsibility to contribute something positive to this world… leaving it a better place than it was when they arrived. To this purpose, he believes New Thought will be among the fastest growing teachings in the years to come because it offers a realistic approach to life in the 21st century with a contemporary, life-affirming, spiritually logical and positive outlook.
